the advantage of friends and facebook

Through Christine and because of facebook, I was able to book a second photo shoot. The backgrounds in these photos are very similar to my first photo shoot - okay, they're the exact same, but that's because everyone is falling in love with this particular location. It is awesome! I can branch out and do other locations. Just so you know. Thank you Rick and Tera. You have a beautiful family. Thank you for being such troopers in the cold weather.

Where it all began

This lovely family took a chance on me and allowed me to photograph them. I enjoyed every second of it! Chad and Christine have a beautiful family. The kids were a joy to work with. They made my job so easy. They naturally fell into good posing positions. Because of them, this photography hobby of mine kicked off. Through the wonderfulness of facebook and the fact that they have many friends, I was able to book a second photo shoot from them. I also have a senior picture photo shoot lined up for this summer, a 12 month old photo shoot set for this winter and summer. I am so thankful to Chad and Christine and for their patience with me as this was a learning experience for me.

Welcome! I am an amateur photographer based in Michigan. Photography is an ongoing learning experience for me and a hobby and a joy to do! I love capturing a family's love, connection, and real life expressions through pictures. It's a challenge that I love trying to conquer. I am still in the learning process. This photography business kind of fell into my lap, and I picked it up and ran with it. It has been very rewarding thus far. There are still kinks and wrinkles to iron out, but I wanted to get my own photography blog up and running so I could showcase what I've done so far. I've had a lot of inquiries and interest in setting up photo shoots. I am blessed to have photo shoots lined up so quickly into the beginning stages of my little photography career. I am my worse critic and I will work around the clock to make sure the pictures are to my standards and that I have happy, satisfied clients who will return for more and tell their friends about me.

Outdoor photography shoots are what I've done so far. I don't have the equipment for indoor studio pictures yet. That is something that will be invested in as the business grows.
