Welcome!

Welcome! My name is Tasha. I am a photographer based in Michigan. Photography is an ongoing learning experience for me and a hobby and a joy to do! I love capturing a family's love, connection, and real life expressions through pictures. I love getting to learn through each photo shoot how I can better myself as a photographer. This photography business kind of fell into my lap, and I picked it up and ran with it. It has been very rewarding thus far. I do not have a personal website just yet. So far, a photography blog is the best way to showcase my photography I've done so far. I've had a lot of inquiries and interest in setting up photo shoots. I am blessed to have photo shoots lined up so quickly into the beginning stages of my photography career. I am my worse critic and I will work around the clock to make sure the pictures are to my standards and that I have happy, satisfied clients who will return for more and tell their friends about me.

Besides doing photography on the side, I am a wife, but most importantly a stay at home mom. I have two small boys who I love dearly and they keep me busy. Family is first and foremost in my life and so I love that my photography allows me the time to have with my family when I want.

Outdoor photography shoots is what I specialize in, but am not limited to.

Please contact me to schedule your Fall/Winter photo shoots. Sign up your baby, children, family, and senior class portraits. Surprise that special someone with Mother's Day and Father's Day pictures, Grandparents with special pictures of their loved ones, memorable pictures for your family Christmas cards, or just treat yourself or son or daughter with an afternoon of feeling like a model.

Witt Family May 2010

I had the pleasure of spending time with the Witt family on Sunday. They told me about Heritage Park and about all the cute little buildings and bridges they had for pictures. I was thrilled! I couldn't wait for this photo shoot! Everything went perfectly! Kayley was a trooper. She did so good! We had to bribe her and praise her with Skittles, and I jumped around and acted like a complete retard trying to get her to laugh and smile, and I got my clothes all dirty and wet from laying in the grass and all over the sidewalks to get good shots, but it was a blast! Chris was my handy man on this shoot! He was awesome too! He held my reflectors for me, carried the camera bag, helped Justin carry the props they brought from home, and watched Kayley while I shot some pictures of Christina and Justin. Not to mention he did most of the editing for me! :) We make a great team!

So, without further ado....

a playdate turned photo shoot

I took Mason over to my friend's house for a play date with Karsyn. As soon as I pulled my camera out (cuz you know I HAD to bring my camera with me) she started posing. She is such a good, natural poser for the camera! It was so easy and fun capturing little candid shots of her all day.

Then little miss Kadence woke up from her nap and came outside, but she wasn't as thrilled to see the camera.

Big sister, Kennady, came home from school just in time to get some pictures too.

And here is my beautiful and gorgeous best friend, Joy, with her three adorable girls.
